    Position Description

    Successfully operates cranes to discharge cargo from vessels to shore.

    Position Requirements

    + Safely and efficiently operate cranes and related gear to transfer materials

    + Maintain and repair cranes as trained and instructed

    + Assist in the troubleshooting and repair of equipment

    + Assist as required in the transfer and storage of materials through the use of conveyors, rolling equipment and related equipment

    + Participates in operational, safety and environmental training as assigned

    + Other duties as instructed by management

    + Work a rotating schedule as assigned

    + Must be available for non-scheduled shifts as needed

    + Work outside in all types of weather conditionsClimb stairs up to 80 feetMeet physical and medical requirements as Crane Operator per OSHA 1917.27

     

    Must be able to secure TWIC Card
