The CNC Mill /Mill Turn Programmer will oversee all creation and modification for all CNC Programs utilizing Mill & Mill Turn Equipment. They will optimize process improvements inclusive of: Tolling Technology Advancement, Post Processing, Fixturing Design & Creation and Cycle Time Reductions.
Key contributor with Manufacturing Management & Capital Expenditure Review Teams to identify New Machinery & other Capital Expense requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop machining processes and programs for the manufacturing of products in multiple-axis machining center
• Analyze part drawings, sketches, and design data to determine dimension and configuration of cuts, selecting cutting tools and machine speeds and feeds, according to knowledge of machine shop processes
• Perform debugging and testing of CNC programs in the machining centers
• Assist in the training of production operators on the use of new CNC machine control and tools
• Write machine set-up sheets and tool list to guide set-up and operation of the machining centers
• Perform cutting tools evaluations, cost analysis and new technology implementation
• Recommend COGS Improvements through Cycle Time reduction, Tooling Enhancements and Raw Material Evaluation
• Create and maintain detailed 3D models using CAD Software for machining purposes
• Ability to use PartMaker & Fusion 360 Software to generate programs
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• Required Experience – 5 Years CNC Mill Machine Programming with Proven Track Record of Creating CNC Programs
• Required Skills – Ability to use PartMaker & Fusion 360 Software
• Familiarity with Haas, Chiron & Fanuc’s Robodrill or similar required
• GD&T Certification a plus

This is a Permanent position based out of Addison, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
