    Electrical Designer (Hybrid)

     

    We’re seeking an Electrical Designer to support nationwide building projects, delivering high‑quality plans, schematics, load calculations, equipment selection, and technical specifications. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, clients, and project managers, contributing to successful project execution from concept through completion. This role includes attending project meetings and traveling to project sites for surveys and field tasks.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Assist with electrical design for diverse projects across the U.S.

    + Produce plans, schematics, load calculations, equipment selection, and specifications.

    + Collaborate with engineers and multidisciplinary teams.

    + Work directly with clients and project managers to support project delivery.

    + Attend project meetings and travel for site surveys and related tasks.

    Key Qualifications

    + 5+ years of mechanical/electrical (HVAC/plumbing) design or drafting experience in buildings.

    + Revit and AutoCAD proficiency.

    + Understanding of NEC basics, circuiting, panel schedules, and lighting layouts.

    + Ability to work effectively in a multi‑discipline team.

    + EIT certification preferred.

    Work Environment

    + Standard hours: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM or 8:30 AM–5:30 PM.

    + Hybrid schedule with Fridays WFH.

    + Join a 15‑person team working on office interiors, data centers, financial institutions, schools, healthcare, and infrastructure projects.

    This is a Contract position based out of New York, NY.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $48.00/hr.
