Job Title: Manufacturing EngineerJob Description

As a Pre-Production Engineer, you will manage, plan, implement, and follow up on activities associated with Model Line projects. Your role will include detailed planning and milestone management to ensure a successful model launch that is timely, cost-effective, and produces high-quality parts. You will work within the company's policies and may be assigned additional duties.

Responsibilities

+ Plan, implement, and follow up on Model Line activities, including data collection, analysis, and document preparation.

+ Develop and manage logical plans, implement them, and oversee follow-up activities.

+ Complete standardized work documents.

+ Motivate and direct a team through practical problem-solving.

+ Present the results of your work effectively.

+ Develop, implement, and analyze technical products and systems.

+ Perform engineering design evaluations and develop various processes.

+ Recommend improvements to product quality and procedures.

+ Utilize standard concepts, practices, and procedures within your field to solve problems and implement improvements.

+ Identify issues and present corrective plans.

+ Work on assignments and tasks as directed by your supervisor.

+ Manage project schedules, including detailed activities and event milestones, to ensure a timely and cost-effective model launch.

Work Environment

You will join a team of experienced engineers in a fast-paced automotive environment, working on new program launches. The typical work hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM in an assembly environment. You will benefit from a collaborative team with good tenure.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lebanon, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $43.00/hr.
