Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Job Description
Join a dynamic team specializing in the design, manufacturing, and development of advanced Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) for military and defense applications. As an Electrical Engineer, you will take full ownership of a new electrical system for UAV platforms, managing the entire process from developing schematics to testing and completing the electrical design lifecycle. This role requires the design of complex systems, proficiency in wire harnessing, and the ability to ensure compliance with industry standards. Candidates must be U.S. citizens due to ITAR-controlled facility requirements.
Responsibilities
+ Meet with the engineering team to review and discuss plans.
+ Review and make necessary adjustments to schematics.
+ Implement electrical system designs.
+ Perform hands-on wiring and integration of aircraft electrical systems.
Essential Skills
+ 3+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering, focusing on designing electrical systems and wire harnessing.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD design tools such as Autodesk AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, Inventor, Vault, EPLAN, or similar.
+ Ability to interpret and execute specifications, wiring diagrams, schematics, and engineering drawings.
+ Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering.
+ Experience in working in aerospace industry highly preferred.
+ US Citizenship.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with Solidworks.
+ UAV flying experience is a plus.
+ Secret Clearance will be required once direct.
Work Environment
The role is based on-site, working closely with 2-3 Electrical Technicians. The standard hours are 8-5 with flexibility (e.g., 07:30-4:30). Overtime may be required if approaching a deadline, but this is not typical. Minimal travel may be necessary towards the end of the year, less than 5%.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
