    Job Description

    Oversee all aspects of on-site construction operations, including supervising crews, subcontractors, and field staff. Create and maintain project schedules, site logistics plans, and temporary facility layouts. Implement and enforce safety programs that meet OSHA standards and company policies. Lead coordination meetings with project stakeholders, including owners, architects, and subcontractors. Monitor quality standards and ensure all work meets project specifications. Manage material deliveries, subcontractor performance, and any self-performed tasks. Track and report daily activities, payroll, incidents, and maintain accurate project documentation. Coordinate inspections, finalize punch lists, and ensure timely project completion. Mentor team members and build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.

    Responsibilities

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects.

    + Proficiency with scheduling tools and spreadsheet applications.

    + Strong understanding of OSHA compliance and site safety requirements.

    + Proven ability to manage site operations and resolve field issues.

    + Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

    + Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and handle multiple priorities effectively.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Degree in Construction Management or related discipline is preferred.

    + OSHA 10-hour safety certification and current First Aid/CPR certification.

    + Experience in commercial construction and construction trades.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Des Moines, IA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
