    Job Title: Project Architect

    Job Description

    We are seeking a talented and experienced Project Architect to join our dynamic team, focusing on Housing and Multi-Family projects. You will be instrumental in leading the production of technical drawings and specifications, coordinating with other disciplines, and managing construction administration duties. Your role will involve working on projects with 150-200 units, ensuring the highest quality in design and construction standards.

    Responsibilities

    + Lead the production of technical drawings and specifications.

    + Coordinate the work of other disciplines involved in the project.

    + Take on construction administration duties, including submittal reviews and site visits.

    + Establish accurate design work parameters, considering code, site restrictions, budget, and schedule.

    + Identify building systems options and related performance and cost criteria.

    + Assist in the presentation of design documents.

    + Oversee daily activities of the architectural project team.

    + Ensure technical quality of construction documents.

    + Perform quality reviews of assigned projects.

    + Detail architectural elements in documents.

    + Mentor staff in collaboration with the Project Manager.

    + Maintain and improve office architectural standards and production tools.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in Revit and construction documents.

    + Strong knowledge of building construction.

    + Experience in Housing and Multi-Family housing projects.

    + 7-20 years of architectural experience.

    + Experience in wood frame/stick building construction.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience as a Project Architect or Project Manager in previous firms.

    + 10+ years of commercial architecture/building experience.

    + Ability to mentor junior designers and drafters.

    + Experience with healthcare, design, industrial projects, and construction administration.

    + No architectural license required.

    Work Environment

    This role offers the flexibility of being 100% remote or in-office for candidates local to the Twin Cities. You will join a strong team specializing in Housing and Multi-Family work, with excellent support for remote consultants. Our collaborative environment also includes studios focused on education, healthcare, industrial, and retail projects.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
