    Incubation Technician

Join our team as an Incubation Technician, where you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the successful incubation of eggs and maintaining the highest standards of quality and biosecurity.     What You’ll Do

    + Set eggs with care and accuracy based on customer and management specifications.

    + Record essential details like dates, flock numbers, and quantities to ensure traceability.

    + Prepare and organize incubation tags for each order.

    + Monitor and maintain optimal temperature and humidity for incubation success.

    + Candle eggs and pack incubated orders to meet customer expectations.

    + Select eggs for breeder stock and flock replacement, supporting long-term operations.

    + Complete and distribute all required paperwork and input data into spreadsheets.

    + Maintain cleanliness and biosecurity through regular cleaning and fumigation.

    + Conduct environmental sampling and ensure compliance with safety standards.

    + Perform other related duties that keep our incubation process running smoothly.

    + Knowledge of biology, aseptic techniques, and cleanroom protocols.

    + Comfortable using PPE and following biosecurity measures.

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + High school diploma or GED (preferred).

    + 2+ years of experience in a processing or poultry farm environment.

    + Equivalent education and experience will be considered.

    Work Environment & Schedule

    + Saturday–Wednesday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM.

    + Fast-paced, hands-on environment with a focus on accuracy and safety.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Voluntown, CT.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $52000.00/yr.
