Seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to lead projects from initiation to completion, supporting quality and delivery goals. This role collaborates cross-functionally and provides daily support to the manufacturing floor.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct technical reviews of drawings and specifications.
Develop bills of materials, manufacturing methods, and visual work instructions.
Prepare costing estimates for new and repeat business.
Analyze completed jobs to optimize costs and improve productivity.
Design specialized tooling and fixturing for manufacturing and inspection.
Monitor job schedules and milestones.
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and inspection teams to ensure product quality and performance.
Support root cause analysis and corrective action reporting.
Provide training to team members as needed.
Top Skills & Qualifications:
3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, ideally in aerospace/defense and new product introduction (NPI) environments.
Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Hands-on expertise with mechanical and electro-mechanical products.
Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and 3D models (SolidWorks) and 2D drawings (AutoCAD).
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes: machining, assembly, and chemical processing.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
Commitment to meeting internal and customer deadlines.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $52.88/hr.
