Responsibilities
+ Perform analytical testing on production batches and incoming samples using laboratory instrumentation, including pH meters, viscometers, melting point apparatus, precision balances, and water baths.
+ Conduct detailed color matching assessments, ensuring batch color accuracy; provide feedback to compounders and collaborate on formula adjustments as needed.
+ Prepare, label, and package samples for internal testing and customer submission, maintaining complete and accurate documentation.
+ Execute in‑process quality checks such as specific gravity, color, viscosity, and pH measurements to ensure products meet established specifications.
+ Communicate effectively with compounders, production teams, and customers regarding approvals, adjustments, and test findings.
+ Maintain thorough documentation of all testing activities in accordance with SOPs, GMP requirements, and audit standards.
+ Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure ongoing accuracy, reliability, and compliance.
+ Perform routine and non-routine testing to support product verification, batch release, and customer evaluations.
+ Support overall lab operations by taking on additional responsibilities, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, and helping maintain a safe, organized work environment.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wharton, NJ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
