Job Title: Plant Operations ManagerJob Description
We are seeking an experienced Plant Operations Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of plant operations, including production, quality assurance, safety, and maintenance. The ideal candidate will develop and implement strategies to optimize manufacturing processes and improve operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Responsibilities
+ Manage all aspects of plant operations, including production, quality assurance, safety, and maintenance.
+ Develop and implement strategies to optimize manufacturing processes and improve operational efficiency.
+ Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, promoting a safe working environment for all employees.
+ Coordinate with Engineering, Sales, and Supply Chain departments to align manufacturing capabilities with customer demands and business objectives.
+ Monitor production metrics and KPIs to enable data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
+ Manage plant budget and resources effectively, ensuring cost control and alignment with financial goals.
+ Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.
+ Conduct performance evaluations and implement training and development programs.
+ Collaborate with senior management on strategic planning and projects to drive growth and innovation within the plant.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Management, or related field.
+ Minimum 8-10 years of experience in manufacturing management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
+ Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and supply chain management.
+ Proven track record of leading teams and driving operational excellence.
+ Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is preferred.
+ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
+ Low volume assembly experience is preferred.
Work Environment
The work environment consists of a team of around 20 people in the plant. The environment is fast-paced and requires the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Duncan, SC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $165000.00/yr.
