Lab Technician – 1st Shift, 2nd Shift and 3rd Shift

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on testing, problem‑solving, and collaborating with production teams to ensure every batch meets the highest standards.

What You’ll Do

+ Perform analytical testing on batches and samples using key laboratory instruments, including pH meters, viscometers, melting point equipment, scales, and water baths.

+ Conduct color matching by evaluating batch color accuracy, providing clear feedback, and partnering with compounders to make necessary adjustments.

+ Prepare and label samples for testing and packaging, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant.

+ Complete in‑process quality checks such as gravity, color, and pH measurements to verify product consistency.

+ Communicate with compounders and customers to support approvals, adjustments, and overall product quality.

+ Document all testing activities throughout the shift in alignment with SOPs, GMP standards, and audit requirements.

+ Maintain and collaborate with lab equipment to ensure accuracy, reliability, and proper functionality.

+ Support product verification testing as needed.

+ Contribute to continuous improvement by taking on additional responsibilities that enhance lab operations and workflow efficiency.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wharton, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
