We are seeking a meticulous and skilled Bakery Enzyme Quality Lab Technician to join our team. This position involves conducting laboratory experiments to evaluate enzyme performance in bakery formulations. The role requires a strong foundation in food science and a passion for quality assurance in the bakery industry.

Responsibilities

+ Conduct laboratory experiments to evaluate enzyme performance in bakery formulations.

+ Prepare and analyze samples using standard food science techniques.

+ Record, interpret, and report experimental data accurately.

+ Assist in troubleshooting and optimizing enzyme applications for various bakery products.

+ Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety and quality protocols.

+ Collaborate with R&D and production teams to support product development and scale-up.

+ Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in enzyme technology.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or a related field.

+ Proficiency in analytical techniques and data interpretation.

+ Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

+ Knowledge of baking ingredients and formulation science.

+ Familiarity with regulatory requirements for food additives.

+ Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Work Environment

The position is based in a bakery lab, where the technician will work with a variety of laboratory equipment. The role requires adherence to safety and quality protocols, while collaborating with R&D and production teams in a dynamic environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Davie, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $40.86/hr.
