Lab ProcessorPosition Overview
We are seeking an attentive, reliable, and fast‑paced Lab Processor to join our laboratory operations team. This role is critical to ensuring the accurate intake and handling of clinical samples. Candidates must be comfortable working with patient samples, standing for the entirety of their shift, and performing repetitive, high‑volume tasks with precision.
Additionally, candidates must be comfortable bending, lifting, and performing physical work throughout the shift.
Key Responsibilities
+ Receive incoming lab samples upon arrival.
+ Inspect samples to confirm there is no damage or leakage.
+ Properly label samples according to laboratory protocols.
+ Place samples in the correct designated area within temperature‑controlled storage.
+ Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.
+ Work on your feet for the full duration of the shift.
+ Perform repetitive tasks at a high volume with consistent accuracy.
+ Bend, lift, and move materials throughout the shift.
Required Skills & Experience
+ Experience in production, medical processing, data entry, sample prep, sample management, or similar environments preferred.
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly without compromising accuracy.
+ Ability to work independently and stay focused during repetitive tasks.
+ Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
+ Must be comfortable working with bodily samples.
+ High School Diploma or GED required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.06 - $20.06/hr.
