    Job Title: Software EngineerJob Description

     

    The Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software that interfaces directly with hardware. This role involves close collaboration with team members to support integration between hardware, firmware, and Windows IOT applications using QT.

    Responsibilities

    + Design, develop, and maintain software that interfaces with hardware.

    + Collaborate with team members to integrate hardware, firmware, and Windows IOT applications using QT.

    + Support the product launch of new devices by working closely with Electrical Engineers, FPGA Engineers, and other disciplines.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficient in C++ development.

    + Experience interfacing with FPGA.

    + Experience in full product lifecycle development.

    + Knowledge of QT.

    + Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical Engineering.

    + Experience in embedded applications, real-time systems, and multi-threaded programming.

    + Debugging skills using oscilloscopes.

    Work Environment

    The team consists of 8 engineers working closely in a collaborative environment. The position offers an opportunity to work with various engineering disciplines to support the product launch of new devices.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newport Beach, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $90.00/hr.
