    Part-Time Senior Downsizing Specialist (W-2) $22/hour | On-site | San Francisco Bay Area

     

    Caring Transitions of Central San Francisco helps seniors and families navigate downsizing, relocation, and estate transitions with compassion and hands-on support. Every project is different, and every client interaction matters.

     

    We’re hiring part-time Senior Downsizing Specialists to support projects throughout San Francisco, the East Bay, Marin, and the Peninsula .

     

    This role is best suited for someone seeking supplemental income and flexible, project-based work. Hours vary week to week and are not guaranteed.

     

    What You’ll Do

     

    + Assist seniors and families with downsizing and relocation projects

    + Sort, organize, pack, and prepare items for donation, recycling, or resale

    + Photograph and catalog items for online estate sales

    + Help prepare homes for estate sales and assist during pickup days

    + Lift and carry boxes (up to 30 lbs), including stairs and standing for extended periods

    + Follow safety guidelines and company best practices

     

    Note: We are not movers. Professional movers handle heavy furniture and items over 40 lbs.

     

    What We’re Looking For

     

    + Compassion and patience when working with seniors and families

    + Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

    + Comfortable with light physical labor and varied environments

    + Able to work independently and as part of a small team

    + Reliable transportation required (job sites vary)

    + Occasional weekend availability is required

    + Must pass a background check

    + Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

     

    Compensation & Schedule

     

    + $22 per hour (W-2 position)

    + Part-time, on-site, project-based work

    + No guaranteed hours or fixed weekly schedule

    + Mileage reimbursed between job sites
