Description

Robert Half is looking for a dedicated Attorney/Lawyer to join a reputable law firm in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role offers an opportunity to engage in diverse litigation tasks, including both defense and plaintiff work. You will play a key role in supporting legal processes and collaborating with partners throughout various stages of litigation.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct and participate in depositions, ensuring thorough preparation and strategic questioning.

• Draft legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, and discovery materials with precision and attention to detail.

• Present and argue motions effectively in court, showcasing strong advocacy skills.

• Provide comprehensive support to partners during all phases of litigation, including trial preparation and strategy.

• Act as second chair during trials, assisting with case management and courtroom procedures.

• Handle defense litigation cases and contribute to plaintiff work as needed.

• Manage case files and ensure timely progression of litigation tasks.

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective legal strategies and solutions.

• Conduct legal research to support case arguments and motions.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid license to practice law.

• At least 1 year of experience in civil litigation.

• Proven ability to draft motions, briefs, and discovery documents.

• Strong legal research and analytical skills.

• Comfortable arguing motions in court and presenting cases.

• Ability to work collaboratively with partners and team members.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.

• Familiarity with both defense and plaintiff litigation processes.
