    We’re partnering with a privately held, multi-entity organization with operations across retail, energy-related services, and property holdings to identify an Accounting Manager for a newly created role. This position will report to the Controller and support a growing, operationally diverse business with increasing accounting and systems complexity.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Oversee full-cycle accounting including general ledger, month-end close, and reconciliations

    + Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements

    + Support accounting across multiple entities, including operating and property-based businesses

    + Review agreements and perform financial analysis to ensure accurate billing and revenue recognition

    + Prepare budget-to-actual and management reporting

    + Record intercompany, asset, liability, revenue, and expense transactions

    + Oversee commission calculations and payments

    + Prepare and file sales & use tax filings across multiple states

    + Support ERP optimization, reporting, and team training

    + Manage and develop a small accounting team

    + Partner with senior accounting leadership to improve processes and controls

    Requirements

    Required Qualifications & Experience:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

    + 7+ years of progressive accounting experience

    + Prior experience leading or training accounting staff

    + Experience supporting multi-entity or operationally complex environments

    + Strong systems and ERP experience

    + Exposure to state tax filings

    How You'll Stand Out:

    + MBA or Master's Degree

    + CPA or CMA

    + Public/Big 4 experience
