Description

Robert Half is seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join our team on a short-term contract basis. The ideal candidate will have strong real estate experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Contract Duration: 2 months (with potential for extension or temp-to-perm arrangement)

Pay: $30+/hour (depending on experience)

Start Date: Monday, January 12th

Key Responsibilities

+ Contract Management:

+ Handle end-to-end residential real estate transactions

+ Review, revise, and finalize contracts, coordinate attorney modifications

+ Track key dates (mortgage commitments, deposits, etc.)

+ Client Communication:

+ Provide proactive updates and support via phone and email

+ Answer client questions and assist with negotiations/credits

+ Title & Closing Process:

+ Review title binder and summarize requirements for attorney

+ Prepare, proofread, and assemble closing documents

+ Ensure all documentation is ready for seamless closings

+ Commercial Transactions:

+ Liaise with attorneys representing lenders

+ Compile and communicate requirements for closing

+ Additional Duties:

+ Occasional work on wills and basic litigation support

+ Drafting, proofing, and typing legal documents

+ Calendar management for meetings and closings

Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in real estate transactions, preferably at the paralegal level.

• Proficiency in handling residential and commercial real estate processes.

• Strong typing and proofreading skills to ensure accuracy in documentation.

• Ability to understand and utilize legal terminology effectively.

• Experience with drafting and assembling closing documents.

• Familiarity with managing timelines and following up on transaction milestones.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Competence in using computer systems and software for legal documentation and scheduling.
