    Description

    Our client, a well-established nonprofit organization, is seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to manage the accounts payable process and support their mission-driven operations.     Key Responsibilities:

    + Process and record invoices, expense reports, and payments accurately and efficiently

    + Review, match, and reconcile purchase orders with vendor invoices

    + Maintain organized AP documentation and support audits and compliance requirements

    + Assist with month-end closing, journal entries, and financial reporting

    + Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve billing and payment issues

    + Support grant and program expense tracking in alignment with nonprofit standards

    Requirements

    + 2+ years of accounts payable experience; nonprofit sector experience is a plus

    + Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, or similar) and Excel

    + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

    + Excellent communication and customer service abilities
