Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team in Seattle, Washington. This is a contract position designed for a detail-oriented individual with strong expertise in accounts payable, benefits administration, and reconciliation processes. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, demonstrates exceptional organizational skills, and is committed to producing accurate and reliable work.

Responsibilities:

• Process benefit-related disbursements and maintain detailed records for compliance and accuracy.

• Manage vendor payments and expense reimbursements efficiently and in line with company policies.

• Create, update, and maintain accounts payable reports and files to ensure organized and accurate documentation.

• Offer training and guidance on policies and procedures, ensuring team members understand compliance requirements.

• Ensure adherence to regulations for Health Reimbursement Account and Cafeteria Plan reimbursements.

• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all accounting tasks.

• Meet tight deadlines while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, high-demand environment.

• Operate office equipment such as copiers, scanners, calculators, and computers proficiently.

• Occasionally move within the office to access files, equipment, and other resources as needed. Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent; additional college coursework or an undergraduate degree is preferred.

• Minimum of three years of detail-oriented experience in accounting, particularly in accounts payable and benefits administration.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal accounting software such as Elite 3E.

• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and administrative abilities.

• Exceptional accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.

• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.

• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
