Description We are looking for a dedicated Compensation & Benefits Specialist to join our team in Wilmington, North Carolina. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in managing and analyzing employee benefits and compensation programs, ensuring compliance and providing valuable support to both employees and leadership. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to contribute to the success of a dynamic organization.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other related offerings.
• Coordinate benefit enrollment processes and ensure accurate documentation and compliance with regulations.
• Conduct detailed analyses of compensation and benefits data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide guidance to employees and managers regarding benefits policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement effective compensation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including FMLA and other labor laws.
• Address employee inquiries and resolve issues related to benefits and compensation.
• Monitor and evaluate vendor performance to ensure optimal service delivery.
• Prepare and present reports on compensation and benefits metrics to leadership.
• Support organizational initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction and engagement through effective benefits management. Requirements • Proven experience in compensation and benefits management or a related HR role.
• Strong knowledge of benefits coordination and administration processes.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations, including FMLA and other labor laws.
• Proficiency in analyzing benefits and compensation data to drive decision-making.
• Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with employees and stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to changing priorities.
