Description

Robert Half Management Resources is recruiting for an Interim Senior Procurement Operations Analyst to support a large private equity firm during a critical transition period. This is a 4+ month, primarily on-site engagement based in West Los Angeles. In this consulting role, you will oversee day-to-day procurement functions, drive process excellence, ensure efficient and compliant purchasing, and manage key stakeholder relationships across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily procurement activities, including researching, reviewing, and processing purchase orders with precision and compliance.

• Evaluate vendor contracts to ensure alignment with company policies, budgetary requirements, and operational goals.

• Collaborate with internal teams to identify purchasing needs and source appropriate suppliers.

• Monitor and analyze procurement metrics to identify opportunities for improving processes and efficiency.

• Manage supplier onboarding, contract renewals, and address discrepancies to maintain smooth procurement operations.

• Maintain thorough documentation and audit trails for all procurement activities to ensure transparency and accountability.

• Recommend and implement enhancements to procurement policies and procedures.

• Support ad-hoc procurement projects and initiatives as needed, ensuring timely completion and quality results.

• Build and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and negotiation.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years’ experience in procurement operations, preferably within financial services or private equity.

• Expertise in indirect procurement, purchasing, and corporate procurement processes.

• Demonstrated proficiency with procurement systems such as Coupa, Oracle, or similar platforms.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple purchase requests and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to manage stakeholder relationships.

• Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.

• Proven track record in contract and vendor management.

• Familiarity with procurement policies and compliance standards.
