Description

Robert Half is recruiting for an experienced Controller/ Consultant for our privately held Construction client. The interim Controller will lead month-end close, reconciliations, prepare accurate financial statements, oversee job costing, WIP accounting, retention accounting, indirect cost and equipment allocations. This role will be located onsite in Fontana, CA.

Skills:

- 7+ years accounting experience in construction or related industries.

- Strong experience in job costing

-Advanced Excel skills and experience with construction ERP/accounting systems.

-Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience, preferably within the construction industry.

• Proficiency in job costing and related financial processes.

• Advanced skills in Excel and familiarity with construction-specific accounting systems.

• Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication skills to liaise with various teams.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
