Description

We are looking for a skilled Paralegal to join a law firm located in Peachtree Corners. This role will be handling diverse tasks within litigation and family law cases.

Responsibilities:

• Draft and prepare legal documents such as complaints and discovery responses.

• Assist attorneys with calendaring deadlines and managing schedules.

• E-file documents in Georgia courts.

• Utilize software tools including Word, Outlook, Excel, and Sage Timeslips to support billing and case management.

• Collaborate with the legal team to manage increasing workloads and prioritize tasks.

• Conduct thorough research to support litigation cases when needed.

• Ensure compliance with legal standards and procedures in all tasks.

• Maintain organized case files and documentation for easy access.

• Support litigation efforts by preparing necessary materials and documentation.

Requirements • Proven experience as a Paralegal, preferably with expertise in litigation or family law.

• Proficiency in drafting legal documents and answering discovery.

• Familiarity with electronic filing systems and calendaring processes.

• Strong technical skills, including proficiency with Word, Outlook, Excel, and Sage Timeslips.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a growing workload.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Strong understanding of legal procedures and terminology.

• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all work.
