Description

Our client is a well-established Creditors’ Rights Law Firm dedicated to professionalism, respect, and achieving the best possible outcomes for their clients. They are seeking a REMOTE Litigation Associate to actively litigate cases throughout New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience and must be barred in New Jersey. The role is FULLY REMOTE but does require regular court appearances throughout New Jersey. Comprehensive benefits package included. Newly barred attorneys are encouraged to apply!

Position Summary:

As a Litigation Associate, you will manage a diverse caseload of both litigated and non-litigated claims. Your responsibilities will include:

+ Developing case strategies

+ Drafting and reviewing pleadings, discovery, and motion practices

+ Reviewing paperwork related to claims

+ Regularly appearing in court and assisting with trial

You will work closely with senior management and clients to lead matters to positive resolutions. Court appearances and conducting trials are integral parts of this role.

Requirements

+ Active New Jersey Bar License

+ 1+ years of litigation experience (though newly barred attorneys will be considered)

+ Self-directed individual with attention to detail and ability to manage workload and prioritize appropriately.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

+ Ability to establish trusted partnerships with internal and external clients.

+ Willingness to make regular, in-person court appearances
