• Business Intelligence Engineer

    Description

    We are looking for a Business Intelligence Developer to design, develop, and maintain data visualizations and reporting solutions that drive insight and decision-making across the organization. This role will focus heavily on Power BI, working closely with business stakeholders to turn data into clear, actionable intelligence.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and datasets

    + Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into BI solutions

    + Build and optimize data models, relationships, and measures using DAX

    + Develop and maintain SQL queries, views, and stored procedures to support reporting needs

    + Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across BI solutions

    + Implement row-level security (RLS) and data access controls in Power BI

    + Optimize report performance and refresh strategies

    + Document BI solutions, data definitions, and best practices

    + Provide ongoing support and enhancements for existing dashboards and reports

    Requirements

    Required Qualifications

    + 3+ years of experience in a Business Intelligence Developer or similar role

    + Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (Desktop, Service, datasets, gateways)

    + Solid experience with SQL for reporting and analytics

    + Experience building data models and writing DAX measures

    + Strong understanding of data visualization best practices

    + Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Experience with Microsoft Fabric or Azure data platforms

    + Familiarity with Power BI performance tuning and optimization techniques

    + Experience implementing row-level security (RLS)

    + Knowledge of ETL/ELT concepts and data warehousing fundamentals

    + Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
