    Description

    Are you a seasoned accounting professional looking for an exciting short-term opportunity? Our client needs a Senior Accountant to join their team for a full-time assignment lasting 2–3 months. In this role, you’ll be the go-to expert for all things accounting—helping keep operations running smoothly while driving process improvements. You will have diverse responsibilities that range from payroll processing, financial statement preparation, weekly cash projections, account reconciliation, and assisting with some HR functions.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Prepare periodic reports, including cash projections, monthly financial statements, forecasts, work-in-process, and job profitability reports.

    + Perform account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements and inter-company accounts.

    + Manage client billings, payments, and deposits.

    + Oversee accounts payable functions up to initiating payment via check or ACH.

    + Facilitate reporting of fixed assets and inventory.

    + Prepare and process payroll-related tasks.

    + Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

    Requirements

    What We’re Looking For

     

    + Education & Experience: Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.

    + Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and MS Teams

    + Industry Knowledge: Job cost accounting experience—construction background a plus.

    + Soft Skills: Organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently.
