Description
We are looking for an accomplished ERP Project Manager to lead an Oracle Fusion implementation and optimization initiatives for one of our client's. In this long-term contract position, you will act as a vital bridge between business and IT teams, ensuring seamless project execution and delivery. Based in Birmingham, Alabama, this role offers a unique opportunity to drive impactful system transformations while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Must be able to engage on an immediate basis and work onsite!
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the complete lifecycle of Oracle Fusion implementation projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies to ensure efficient progress.
• Facilitate requirement gathering sessions, system configurations, testing, data migration, and go-live activities.
• Communicate project updates, risks, and key milestones to stakeholders and leadership teams, ensuring transparency and timely issue resolution.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and external vendors to meet project objectives and deadlines.
• Establish and implement best practices for compliance, change management, and industry standards throughout the project.
• Document lessons learned to refine future project processes and enhance organizational efficiency.
• Provide training and support to end users and IT personnel to ensure successful adoption of new systems.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, Accounting or a related field; certifications in project management or Oracle systems preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with at least 3 years dedicated to Oracle Fusion implementations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Oracle modules such as Oracle HCM, financial systems, and supply chain.
• Proven expertise in managing cross-functional teams and prioritizing tasks in dynamic environments.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Experience working with external vendors, consultants, or offshore teams is advantageous.
• Familiarity with data migration techniques and Oracle system best practices.
