Description We are looking for an experienced Mortgage Loan Processor to join our team in Bothell, Washington. In this Contract to permanent opportunity, you will play a pivotal role in assisting members with mortgage applications and ensuring loan files are processed accurately and efficiently. This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment within the credit union industry.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the mortgage loan process by supporting loan originators with tasks such as completing and validating applications.

• Request and confirm mortgage rate locks, ensuring accuracy during the origination process.

• Collect and review financial documents required for applications, including appraisals and title searches.

• Verify and update loan application details, addressing errors and ensuring compliance with lending guidelines.

• Prepare loan files for underwriting, ensuring all conditions are satisfied and ready for submission.

• Address quality control findings and resolve issues before funding.

• Assist members with mortgage intake and provide exceptional customer service.

• Prepare closing documents and coordinate with escrow to finalize funding processes.

• Balance final Closing Disclosure documents and submit wire requests for approval.

• Handle inbound and outbound calls related to mortgage origination and servicing. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage loan processing or a related field.

• Strong customer service skills, preferably within a banking or credit union environment.

• Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.

• Familiarity with loan administration and mortgage processing procedures.

• Knowledge of mortgage closing and lending practices.

• Experience with loan origination systems is preferred.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work efficiently under deadlines and regulatory guidelines.
