    Description

    The Temporary Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for supporting the accounting team with the efficient and accurate management of the end-to-end Accounts Payable process during a defined assignment period. This role helps ensure smooth financial operations from invoice receipt through payment completion, providing coverage and added support during peak workloads or transitions. The Temporary Accounts Payable Coordinator will process invoices, prepare payments, maintain accurate records, and assist with reconciliations while collaborating with senior management, team members, and vendors.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Obtain invoice approvals from senior management

    + Code invoices and enter/post transactions into the accounting system

    + Initiate and issue check, ACH, and wire payments

    + Process approved invoices and payment requests in D365 in a timely manner

    + Prepare bank book journal entries related to cash activity

    + Perform month-end Accounts Payable reconciliations

    + Maintain orderly filing of open and closed AP documents

    + Plan and prepare payments accurately and on schedule

    + Prepare proper coding of invoices and payment documentation

    + Record cash transactions and post necessary entries

    + Complete bank reconciliations

    + Maintain accurate records of planned cash disbursements

    + Assist with special projects as needed

    + Assist with periodic audits and reviews

    + Prepare schedules related to Accounts Payable, cash, and expenses
