Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant who will play a key part in managing financial processes and ensuring the accuracy of accounting records. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and possess strong analytical skills to support month-end close activities and reconciliations and tax support.

Responsibilities:

• Perform month-end close procedures, including preparing and reviewing financial statements.

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.

• Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with established accounting standards.

• Conduct account reconciliations, resolving discrepancies as needed.

• Oversee bank reconciliation processes and ensure timely completion.

• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.

• Collaborate with other departments to streamline accounting processes.

• Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and company policies.

• Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

• Support ad hoc financial reporting and analysis tasks.

Requirements • Proven experience in accounting roles with a focus on month-end close activities.

• Strong knowledge of general ledger management and journal entry preparation.

• Expertise in account and bank reconciliation processes.

• Familiarity with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.

• Proficient in financial analysis and reporting.

• Advanced skills in accounting software and tools.

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
