Description

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team in Los Banos, California. This is a contract-to-permanent opportunity where you will play a vital role in managing payroll operations and supporting human resources functions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of handling confidential information with professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Process bi-weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.

• Maintain detailed payroll records, including employee wages, deductions, overtime, and benefits.

• Address employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.

• Support accounts payable processes and manually calculate weekly timesheets.

• Administer employee benefits, including enrollment, changes, and terminations.

• Manage personnel files, I-9 forms, and assist with onboarding and offboarding activities.

• Oversee workers’ compensation claims, reporting, and compliance documentation.

• Generate payroll and HR reports for management, ensuring data accuracy.

• Coordinate mandatory safety training and leave administration processes.

• Ensure adherence to employment laws and company policies through regular audits and reporting.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll administration; HR experience is a plus.

• Strong knowledge of payroll systems, with Paycom experience preferred.

• Familiarity with federal, state, and local employment laws.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other office software.

• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus.

• Experience in construction or agriculture industries is preferred.
