Overview
The Physical Security Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Physical Security Manager with the development of Corporate Physical Security Programs to ensure the safety and security across all business locations. This position supervises the regional security guards and is responsible for the employee Photo ID and Access Control procedures for the business. Additionally, this position will manage the Executive Protection Program. Candidates should have a strong background in risk assessment and mitigation. The Physical Security Supervisor will also act as the behavioral threat assessment team liaison. Candidate will be responsible for developing operating procedures and policies associated with both the Executive Protection Program and Behavioral Threat Assessment team as well as developing training. This position will work with business units and personnel to mitigate threats related to individuals both inside and outside the business. The Physical Security Supervisor position reports directly to the Physical Security Manager.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct threat assessments of individuals and locations based on available intelligence to include OSINT, site surveys and interviews.
+ Asist with Executive Protection operations when required, based on threat analysis.
+ Work with contractors located domestically and overseas.
+ Liaison with the Behavioral Threat Assessment and Management Team and assist with designing and implementing training.
+ Supervises production, distribution, control and auditing process of employee photo identification badges and access control badges. This will include the issuing, updating and revoke badge access for all employees.
+ Supervises and supports all Security guard functions which includes the ongoing training of all security guard functions.
+ Completes regular security guard site reviews for all responsible locations.
+ Provide Security assessment reviews of regional locations on a quarterly basis. Assessment would include the CCTV integrity and surveillance of our properties.
+ Act as a liaison for local Police and Fire/Safety agencies ensuring the safety and security of all employees.
+ Maintain relationships with state, local, federal and international law enforcement and other public agencies.
+ Establish and maintain a system to review regional security guard daily and incident reports.
+ Conduct Investigation of all criminal related activity and losses incurred by the company and employees.
+ Act as lead Fire/Safety representative for regional locations.
+ Occasional travel domestically as well as internationally in support of Physical Security programs.
Qualifications
+ Experience with Executive Protection, Threat Assessments, Risk Analysis, and Behavioral Threat Assessment Teams.
+ Strong background in risk assessments and threat mitigation strategies.
+ Federal, State, Local law enforcement experience preferred.
+ Bachelor’s degree preferred. Consideration will be given to a candidate with significant work experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
+ 7 years of experience in Physical Security or Law Enforcement experience (Guard, corporate security, law enforcement, etc.).

Compensation
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $76,600 to $120,300 annually. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the Talent Acquisition & Onboarding position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
