    Overview:

    Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS), a nonprofit founded in 1943, has grown to be the largest provider of licensed outpatient community mental health services and one of the largest human service agencies in Westchester County. We provide state-of-the-art programs and services and compassionate care to more than 20,000 people of all ages and backgrounds each year.

     

    We are seeking a Bilingual Clinical Social Worker to join our Crime Victim Advocacy Support Services Program team. In this role, you will provide vital clinical services to individuals and families affected by crime.

     

    This is a full-time position with a salary of $75,000, and a comprehensive benefits package.

    Responsibilities:

    As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

    + Conduct comprehensive intake assessment and develop written treatment plan with the client.

    + Monitor and update the treatment plan quarterly and work with client to fulfill the goals of the treatment plan.

    + Learn, understand, and use evidence-based practice techniques.

    + Provide appropriate clinical documentation, agency and OVS reports in a timely and appropriate manner.

    + Provide treatment in various modalities, including individual, family, and group therapy for ongoing treatment cases.

    + Provide crisis intervention.

    + Maintain necessary patient related contacts with other agencies and resources:

    + (courts, schools, etc.) including written material, telephone contact and personal

    + visits as necessary.

    Requirements:

    We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications:

    + Valid NYS license as an LMSW or LCSW; LMHC’s are also encouraged to apply.

    + Thorough knowledge of clinical practices and therapeutic approaches for individuals and families affected by trauma and crime.

    + Bilingual English/Spanish.
