The Opportunity
Please note, this role can be filled at a 3F Senior Sales Alliance Analyst level or a 3G Sales Alliance Analyst level
Ally is seeking a Sales Specialist to join the Large Dealer Groups team within the Auto Data Analytics and Pricing organization. This team provides white glove service to some of Ally’s largest dealer relationships while supporting a matrix of internal partners. The Sales Specialist will deliver cross-functional support, develop and maintain key metrics and insights, and ensure seamless collaboration between internal teams and external clients. This role requires strong analytical skills, auto finance knowledge, and the ability to interpret data to drive strategic decisions.
The Work Itself
* Develop and maintain daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting to support field sales, underwriting, and internal stakeholders.
* Act as a liaison between the sales team and internal partners to support corporate objectives and dealer group strategies.
* Monitor trends, track results, and escalate risk/opportunities to management as needed.
* Participate in the development and maintenance of data interfaces between various information warehouses and reporting systems.
* Communicate effectively with dealership personnel and internal stakeholders to gather required information and resolve issues.
* Deliver presentations and proposals that clearly articulate insights and recommendations, leveraging data storytelling to drive meaningful business decisions.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners to foster trust and collaboration.
The Skills You Bring
* Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline required
* 1+ years in financial services, or data analytics preferred (3G)
* 3+ years in financial services or data analytics preferred (3F)
* Industry Knowledge: Understanding of auto finance preferred.
* Proficiency in SQL (Snowflake) and data structure/design principles.
* Exposure to Python is preferred
* Experience with report automation and visualization tools such as Power BI.
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
* Strong business acumen, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present technical data effectively.
* Travel: Minimal; primarily for training and internal engagement.
* Confidentiality: Must maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive data.

The 3G Sales Alliance Specialist base pay range is: $55000-$95000 USD
An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and the business environment prior to extending an offer.
Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
