*What you'll do:*
* Lead training and provide ongoing support for onboarding new employees and delivering continuous guidance across ten primary care clinics to ensure adherence to organizational standards and success in their roles.
* Providing technical support to Medical Assistant staff in a clinic site or physician module to include training, assurance of consistency and standardization of procedures.
* Management of day-to-day staff coverage arrangements to ensure excellent patient care, staff performance management, and to serve as a mentor to staff.
* Covering multiple positions and departments.
* Mentoring new and existing staff on clinical processes and procedures.
* Responsible for review of new and existing staff documentation and charge documents for completion and accuracy.
* Practice within the scope of a Medical Assistant and contribute to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care, performing as a staff MA as needed.
*Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:*
* Certified Medical Assistant or Military Corpsman, plus two years applicable clinical experience.
* Requires excellent skills in communication, problem-solving, team development, planning and follow-through.
* Ability to exercise the authority and responsibility for assigned services based on the scope of the organization and complexity of patient care.
*Required Certification/Registration:*
* Completion of a formal Medical Assistant program or Military Corpsman program pursuant to the Division of Allied Health Professions.
* American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS required in clinical setting.
