GENERAL PURPOSE: Responsible for providing customer satisfaction both internally and externally by filling orders promptly and accurately. Ensure customers\u2019 arrival dates are met by determining the best method of shipping. Ensure product is stacked properly to ensure a quality shipment.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

\u2022 Processes retail, grower, and custom pharmaceutical orders.

\u2022 Ensures pharmaceutical orders meet requirements for shipping accuracy and guidelines for customer satisfaction.

\u2022 Processes "packing lists" accurately for all jobs shipping.

\u2022 Ensures all documentation are legible and accurate.

\u2022 Ensures "top priority" shipments meet deadlines.

\u2022 Customizes cartons/skids for customer specific needs.

\u2022 Skids pack items for shipment.

\u2022 Operates fork truck, scale, and pallet wrapper.

\u2022 Moves and locates product in our "materials management" system without error.

\u2022 Operates hand held scanners.

\u2022 Pulls restocking product from warehouse when needed.

\u2022 Loads trucks.

\u2022 Processes plant to plant transfers as needed.

\u2022 Operates ship meter to generate FedEx/UPS labels.

\u2022 Take direction from shipping supervisor and lead.

\u2022 Work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures.

\u2022 Performs other job duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

\u2022 Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D.

\u2022 Must have the ability to read and write complex instructions, correspondence and memos.

\u2022 Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

\u2022 Must have strong mathematical skills.

\u2022 Must have experience in Excel, Outlook, and spreadsheets, scanners, and bar codes.

\u2022 Must have good communications skills.

\u2022 Must have knowledge of loading techniques.

\u2022 Must have the ability to operate the FedEx and UPS meter machines.

\u2022 Must be capable of maintaining good attendance.

\u2022 Must be able to work overtime specifically on the weekends as needed.

\u2022 Must be able to perform essential functions of job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
