• Windows 11 Deployment Technician

    TEKsystems (San Diego, CA)


    Key Responsibilities:

    + Perform hands-on Windows 10 to Windows 11 migrations, including:

    + Backing up and restoring user data

    + Installing and configuring Windows 11

    + Reinstalling applications and ensuring compatibility

    + Validating successful migration and user acceptance

    + Maintain accurate documentation of each migration, including asset tracking and ticket updates

    + Provide deskside support for post-migration issues, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network connectivity

    + Collaborate with IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues

    + Ensure all work is performed in compliance with IT security and privacy policies

     

    Top Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Required: Documented experience working with Windows 10/11

    + Preferred: CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification

    + Strong customer service and communication skills in a clinical or enterprise environment

    + Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting

    + Familiarity with imaging tools (e.g., SCCM, MDT) and remote support platforms is a plus

    This is a Contract position based out of San Diego, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
