Python Developer (Contract-to-Hire)

Duration: 5+ months (Contract-to-Hire)

Schedule: Onsite, 5 days per week

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Python Developer to be a part of a team that builds internal tools and innovative solutions for data-driven applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python and AWS services, with experience in creating scalable data pipelines, APIs, and working with large datasets.

Key Responsibilities

+ Develop and maintain Python-based applications and APIs.

+ Design and implement data pipelines leveraging AWS services (ECS, Glue, Lambda, S3, Data Lake).

+ Collaborate on system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.

+ Work with large-scale data processing using PySpark/Spark.

+ Build and maintain Java microservices for backend functionality.

+ Integrate applications with data warehouses (Snowflake) and relational databases (Oracle, Postgres).

+ Contribute to front-end development using React.js.

+ Implement AI integration into applications.

+ Ensure adherence to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

+ Hands-on experience with:

+ Python application development and API creation.

+ AWS services (ECS, Glue, Lambda, S3).

+ Building AWS-based applications.

+ PySpark/Spark for data processing.

+ Java microservices development.

+ Data warehousing (Snowflake) and relational databases (Oracle, Postgres).

+ React.js for front-end development.

+ AI integration.

+ Strong understanding of SDLC processes.

+ Experience debugging and maintaining code in large corporate environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New York City, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $78.00/hr.
