Release Train Engineer (RTE) – Global Information Security

Our Cyber Security Technology (CST) group is globally distributed and responsible for delivering cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions, architecture, engineering, and resiliency capabilities. We focus on access management, data strategy, technical project management, and security control support across the enterprise.

Role Overview

We are seeking a servant leader to optimize the flow of epics and features within a smaller Agile Release Train (ART). This role ensures value delivery by facilitating ART ceremonies, managing dependencies, and providing visibility into program increment health. You will coach teams on Agile principles, remove impediments, and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

+ Guide and coach ART teams on Scrum practices and Agile principles.

+ Define, schedule, and coordinate Release Trains.

+ Facilitate ART ceremonies:

+ Backlog Refinement

+ Program Increment (PI) Planning

+ ART Sync / PO Sync

+ Scrum of Scrums

+ System Demos & Retrospectives

+ Collaborate with Product Management to maintain a healthy backlog.

+ Ensure releases comply with Enterprise Change Management policies.

+ Manage dependencies, risks, and impediments across teams.

+ Promote communication and collaboration to support PI commitments.

+ Provide status updates and reporting on delivery timelines and impediments.

+ Measure ART performance and maturity; identify improvement opportunities.

+ Coordinate change activities for releases, including occasional weekend or after-hours work.

Required Qualifications

+ 7+ years of experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), preferably as a Scrum Master or Release Train Engineer.

+ Proficiency with Atlassian Jira and Confluence.

+ Familiarity with ITSM platforms (ServiceNow or Remedy).

+ Experience with incident/problem management and change management systems.

+ Strong understanding of change management concepts and practices.

+ Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills.

+ Advanced analytical skills for organizing and reporting complex data.

Preferred Skills

+ Agile transformation experience.

+ PI Planning facilitation.

+ Scrum and Agile methodology expertise.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
