    Medical Scheduler – Contract-to-Hire

     

    Schedule: Training M–F, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM (approx. 6+ weeks). After training: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

     

    Requirement: Work every other weekend. No time off during the first 90 days.

    Role Summary

    The Medical Scheduler supports a high‑volume call center environment by answering incoming calls, scheduling patient appointments, transferring calls, and responding to patient room call bells. This role plays a key part in delivering a smooth and positive patient experience.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Answer and route a high volume of calls

    + Schedule appointments accurately

    + Respond to patient call bells and follow up on requests

    + Perform emergency overhead paging

    + Work onsite as needed

    Qualifications

    + Ability to type 30+ WPM

    + Strong call center or phone‑based customer service experience

    + Excellent communication and computer skills

    + Reliable transportation and schedule flexibility

    + Healthcare scheduling experience is a plus

    Work Environment

    + Business‑casual office setting (not patient‑facing)

    Compensation & Requirements

    + $17/hr, 6‑month contract-to-hire

    + Background check, drug screen, and education verification required

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
