    The Opportunity:

    As a highly valued member of the Dallas, TX Team, the Packer Feeder feeds die cut blanks into folder gluer machines and packs folding cartons into corrugated cases to fill orders.

     

    This position will provide support to the finishing department.

     

    This position is located onsite at the Dallas, TX Plant.

    How you will impact WestRock:

    \u2022 Performs visual inspection of cartons for printing, die-cutting and gluing defects while feeding and packing cartons.

    \u2022 Along with the quality department, verifies case count.

    \u2022 Participates in line clearance procedures after each item is completed.

    \u2022 Works in other areas as needed, including QA sorting, and Flat Packing.

    \u2022 Maintains cleanliness of work area.

    \u2022 Performs other duties as assigned.

    What you need to succeed:

    \u2022 Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.

    \u2022 Able to perform basic arithmetic including addition and subtraction.

    \u2022 Willing to work overtime as needed; significant overtime may be required during busy periods.

    \u2022 Must be able to maintain good attendance.

    \u2022 Must be able to see color.

    \u2022 Must be able to perform all essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
