Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented QC Technician to join our quality operations team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that all incoming materials and packaging components meet established quality standards prior to production use. The successful candidate will execute sampling procedures in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and relevant FDA regulations while maintaining accurate documentation and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
**Compensation** : $20-$25/hour (DOE)
**Location** : Onsite in Chino, CA
**Type** : 6-month contract to hire
**Hours** : M-F 5am start time
Primary Responsibilities
+ Execute sampling protocols for incoming raw materials, components, and packaging materials.
+ Prepare accurate labels, maintain comprehensive documentation, and transfer samples to the Quality Control laboratory.
+ Apply Good Documentation Practices (GDP) consistently across all sampling activities.
+ Conduct visual inspections to identify damage, contamination, or non-conforming materials during the sampling process.
+ Maintain sanitation standards for all sampling instruments and equipment throughout daily operations.
+ Escalate discrepancies, deviations, or anomalies to the Quality Control Supervisor promptly.
+ Maintain audit-ready sampling documentation and practices to support regulatory inspections.
Qualifications
Required Background:
+ High school diploma or equivalent certification.
+ Solid grasp of cGMP, GDP, and FDA requirements as they relate to material sampling operations.
+ Exceptional attention to detail with proven ability to complete documentation accurately.
+ Competency in basic mathematical calculations and measurement techniques.
+ Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
+ Demonstrated ability to function both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
+ Effective time management skills with capability to prioritize competing demands.
+ One or more years of experience within a GMP-regulated manufacturing or laboratory setting.
