    Job Title:

    Analytical Laboratory Technician

     

    Join Syensqo’s Quality Control team in Anaheim, CA, and help us advance humanity through scientific exploration! As an Analytical Laboratory Technician on our 3rd shift, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the quality and performance of our advanced composite materials.

    We are looking for:

    A reliable and detail-oriented team member who is passionate about laboratory science and quality. You’ll work closely with a supportive team dedicated to safety, innovation, and continuous improvement, contributing directly to the success of our materials development.

    We count on you for:

    + Conducting analytical testing on composite materials following SOPs

    + Preparing samples and performing tests with accuracy and efficiency

    + Evaluating test data, performing retests as needed, and maintaining clear records

    + Calibrating and troubleshooting laboratory equipment

    + Upholding laboratory safety protocols and proactively addressing hazards

    + Collaborating with colleagues and working independently on the 3rd shift (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM)

    You will bring:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, or related field (preferred)

    + Experience with analytical testing methods (wet chemistry, thermal analysis, rheology, chromatography)

    + Proficiency in techniques such as HPLC, SEC, FTIR, DSC, DMA, TMA, TGA, moisture analysis, and particle size measurement

    + Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude

    + Effective communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite

    + Experience with LabWare management system is a plus

    You will get:

    + Competitive salary and benefits package

    + The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $70,000 to $102,000 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate, we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.

    + 16, or more, weeks of maternity/paternity and co-parenting leave, according to local regulations

    + Access to a training platform for all employees

    + Free well-being sessions (physical and psychological)

    + Location: Anaheim, CA

    + Schedule: 3rd shift (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM)

    + Minimal travel required

    + Regular use of laboratory equipment and computers; ability to lift up to 30 lbs on rare occasions
