    At Laurelwood Assisted Living , we believe every moment is an opportunity for connection, laughter, and meaningful engagement. The primary purpose of this position is to facilitate and/or lead activities and programs for the residents in the Laurelwood community including Memory Care. The Life Enrichment Assistant will assist with planning, implementing, facilitating and promoting activities to enrich the quality of life for our residents. Primary focus will be on providing programs and events that encourage engagement and socialization throughout our Laurelwood Assisted & Memory Care community. Familiarity with Alzheimer’s/Dementia, a plus! A love and willingness to work with the elderly population is essential for this role.

    Job Requirements:

    + High School diploma / GED required.

    + An ability to inspire, motivate, and encourage engagement of residents in meaningful, purposeful activities throughout the day and evening.

    + Prior experience and knowledge of leading fitness classes are strongly preferred.

    + Ability to handle multiple priorities.

    + Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication.

    + Prior experience preferred planning/coordinating activities for memory care residents.

    Expected hours: Monday- Friday 8:30am-4:30pm, Full Time. 40 hrs. week.

     

    Pay Range: $17.00hr – $21.25 per hour
