Summary You will serve as a Human Resources Specialist in the Command Operations Group, Commander, Fleet Readiness Centers (COMFRC), Human Capital Management Dept (F120000) of COMFLTREADCEN. Responsibilities You will apply a wide range of HR principles, practices, and legal and regulatory requirements and analytical skill to advise managers about Staffing, Classification, Compensation, Workforce Development, Awards, Employee and Labor Relations. You will apply complex fact-finding, analytical and problem-solving methods and techniques. You will establish and maintain effective relationships with and gain confidence and cooperation of supervisors and managers on difficult issues. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-09 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following duties: 1) Supporting Human Resources (HR) specialists in a large administrative and professional occupation organization in at least one of the following HR services: classification, recruitment and placement, employee benefits, human resource development, performance management, and employee and labor management relations; 2) Assisting managers and employees in preparing paperwork related to HR actions; reviewing finished forms for completeness and adequacy; 3) Resolving issues and questions with individual employees or supervisors before processing final actions; 4) Obtaining missing data from HR files; 5) Providing information on HR systems, processes and procedures; and/or providing brochures, applications and other HR documents to employees. GS-11 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following duties: 1) Delivering HR services to supervisors/civilian personnel in at least one or more of the following HR areas: classification, recruitment and placement, employee benefits, human resource development, performance management, and employee and labor management relations. 2) Implementing and advising on HR special programs such as Telework, Awards Management, Leave Programs, etc. for a large organization with a variety of administrative and professional occupations; 3) Preparing paperwork related to HR actions, reviewing finished forms for completeness and adequacy, contacting individual employees or supervisors to resolve questions before processing final actions; 4) obtaining missing data from HR files or the appropriate office; 5) Providing information to supervisors and employees on HR systems, processes and procedures.
