    **Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems** has an opening for an **Administrative Assistant 3/4** to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals on the **F-35 Program Management Team** .

     

    This position is a fully on-site position and will be located in **Redondo Beach, California.**

     

    The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels.

     

    + Provides direct support to multiple directors and level 3 managers.

    + Performs office functions, including (but not limited to): setting up and maintaining files; arranging meetings and conferences; maintaining supplies; managing Outlook calendars; and receiving, referring, or answering mail.

    + Makes travel arrangements for international and domestic travel, prepares expense reports, and maintains pertinent travel documentation.

    + Reviews drafts and finished documents for appropriate grammatical usage; answers questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures.

    + Communicates with internal and external customers and executives, professionally representing the corporation and organization.

    + Facilitates program & team meetings and engagements (all hands, lunch and learns, annual supplier conference, year-end team lunch, engagement activities, airshow meetings and attendance, supplier visits and customer visits).

    + Support and collaborate with administrative professionals in related organizations, as appropriate.

    + Demonstrates a wide and comprehensive acquaintance with, and understanding of, both general and specific aspects of the job and their practical application to complex problems and situations ordinarily encountered.

    + Operates independently to meet requirements of leadership team and offers expertise to assist other functions within organization.

    + Assists in maintaining organizations collaboration sites and activities.

    + Assist with special event planning and catering such as meal planning, ordering from caterers, clean up, and expensing

    + Is a Quick learner and creative thinker, takes on assignments with a good attitude and is driven to dive in and learn what is needed to get the job done

    The successful candidate will possess the following:

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision while exercising good judgment, demonstrating flexibility and agility, prioritizing multiple tasks with competing deadlines, managing schedule conflicts, and providing excellent follow through.

    + Pro-active mindset, self-motivated, well organized and detail oriented.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    + Ability to work with all levels of management and their assistants.

    Basic Qualifications:

    Level 3:

    + High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education or experience in an administrative professional related field

    + Experience in Microsoft Office Suite

    + Ability to work occasional overtime as needed

    Level 4:

    + High School diploma or equivalent and 6 years additional education or experience in an administrative professional related field

    + Experience in Microsoft Office Suite

    + Ability to work occasional overtime as needed

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience supporting international business needs

    + Bachelor's Degree

    + Experience in reviewing and editing written material for correct spelling and grammar

    + Experience working with travel, expensing systems (iTrip, Concur or similar)

    + Experience supporting senior level management/customers in a dynamic program environment

    Salary Ranges:

    Level 3: 56,000.00-93,400

     

    Level 4: 66,600.00-111,000

     

    Primary Level Salary Range: $56,000.00 - $93,400.00

     

    Secondary Level Salary Range: $66,600.00 - $111,000.00

     

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

     

    Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
