The Department of Drama Tepper Semester within the College of Visual and Performing Arts seeks a Part-time Instructor to teach DRA 530 Advanced Actors Workshop, a three credit hour course, in the Spring Semester, 2026, as part of The Tepper Semester at The Fisher Center in New York City.
This course is an advanced exploration into the art and craft of acting. The focus of the class is on identifying and personalizing a character’s driving need and connecting the actor’s voice, body, mind, and spirit in its active pursuit. Special concentration will be placed on finding the freedom to live personally in the given circumstances of a play, lending one’s self to character and deepening the actor’s personal connection to dramatic text.
