    The department of Writing Studies, Rhetoric, and Composition is searching to fill open sections for Professional Writing Instructors to teach sections WRT 105 in Spring 2026.

     

    WRT 105- Studio 1: Practice of Academic Writing (3 credit hours), Study and practice of writing processes, including critical reading, collaboration, revision, editing, and the use of technologies. Focuses on the aims, strategies, and conventions of academic prose, especially analysis and argumentation.

     

    Multiple sections may be available; teaching load for new instructors may be anywhere from 1 to 4 sections per semester dependent on need and availability. All offerings are contingent on budgetary approval and sufficient enrollment. PLEASE NOTE: All offerings are face-to-face in Syracuse, NY; remote teaching is not available.
